After an excellent qualify Kandy started from second position into the race at snowpeach.
A fast race followed, where she never lost contact to the lead rider, and with brave heart she overtook on the last lap and gained her first win at MotoSL, leaving no doubt that she is the best!
KC Motorsports welcomes Len Imako to the team! Len is a multi-talented individual who lends her technical expertise to her racing. Already with a couple of Group C MotoSL races under her belt, look for her flying around the track!

Depo MotoSL3 round 6 PSU Raceway. Jan 5th 2008
It was only her fifth race in MotoSL, but as soon the qualify was over it was clear Kandy Tomorrow is incredibly fast at PSU Raceway, with an amazing time of 24.305s! With qualifying sessions of 5 laps each, and only 4-5 riders in each session (number of sessions dependent on the number of riders registered), it takes speed and skill to be in the final top 6 from these qualifying sessions who go into the Group A race,
During a heavy thunderstorm (bad lag conditions in SL) Kandy outclassed all 3 drivers of the fast OMG team who were competing in the same 5 lap qualify as her for a place in the Group A event. With her qualify time Kandy cemented her place in the official race. Her qualifying time was only beaten by the two top drivers of the season, and this let her take third gate at the start of the race.
During the race Kandy had to fight hard to defend her third place against the fast Pure Team Riders, but in the last lap her nerves of steel succeeded and she finished third place.

This weekend promises to be a busy weekend for KC Motorsports! Between Caine and Kandy, KCM will be represented in the MotoSL event at PSU Raceway on Saturday at Noon SLT, the SLARCA and Supertruck series at Adam Petty SuperSpeedway at Teller Saturday night at 6pm SLT (and possibly the Pub Race SL event, if time allows, at 8pm SLT), the Cup and Grand National Series also at APSS at Teller on Sunday at Noon SLT, then the Road Course series at Ratzenberger Raceway at Teller on Monday at Noon SLT. A new racing team emerges to push the limits of Second Life racing.
KC Motorsports is a multi-discipline race team founded by Kandy Tomorrow (formerly of Team Redline Racing) and Caine Beresford (formerly of Team Pixel Props) in November of 2007.
Originally founded as an open-formula racing team based out of MyControl Speedway, KC Motorsports has rapidly expanded into various disciplines of Second Life racing, including speedway racing at Fairgrounds Speedway and Adam Petty Superspeedway and the ultra-competitive MotoSL series.
Skill, precision and at times a touch of luck, backed up with the strong combination of youth, experience and nerves of steel, will see KC Motorsports dominating the racing community of Second Life.
Caine Beresford, designer of his Porsche 365A Speedster Replica, cuts a dashing figure as he careens around the track at MyControl laying down some blistering speeds (latest track speed at MyControl is 0:16.068 seconds) which has seen him leap ahead of other racers and given KC Motorsports first and second rankings at MyControl. But it’s Kandy Tomorrow in her Midnight Thunder race car who will be throwing the gauntlet down to other racers at MyControl as she lays down scorchingly fast times with a MyControl lap record of 0:13.514 seconds.
KC Motorsports is built on an ethos of professionalism, sportsmanship and good racing and is destined to be a major force to be reckoned with in the world of Second Life racing.
It took just 5 laps for Caine to take second spot overall at MyControl Speedway with a blistering lap of 16.068 seconds, a feat made all the more impressive by the fact that the timing system was out for over a week prior, making practice impossible. Be on the watch for the anno

Caine moving into the second spot means that KC Motorsports now occupies the top two spots on all 3 layouts at MyControl.
